Sorry for being so late to answer: I was in vacations for the last 2 weeks. There is no specialized command for doing this. You need to do everything by hand using multiple node selection. Your document looks like (I've numbered the sections to make my explanation clearer). --- 1. sect1 1.1 sect2 1.2 sect2 2. sect1 2.1 sect2 --- Procedure: [1] Explicitly select sect2 1.2 and, for example using toolbar button "?", add an empty sect2 after it. [2] Click inside newly created sect2 (1.3) and add an empty sect3 there. [3] Explicitly select sect2 2.1 and press Esc then press Down-Arrow. *These keystrokes selects all the child elements of sect2 2.1* [4] Copy all these children to the clipboard (Ctrl+C) [5] Explicitly select empty sect3 1.3.1. Press Esc then press Down-Arrow to select all its children: an empty title and an empty para. [6] Paste the content of the clipboard (Ctrl+V). The empty title and the empty para are replaced by all the children of sect2 2.1. [7] Remove elements which are no longer needed (sect1 2 and sect2 2.1).
