I guess the subject says it all. I migrated from 2.2 Standard to 2.3 Professional and I'm eager to start using the Docbook PDF stuff. I put fop.jar in my classpath, but XXE still complains about not finding any 'FOP' processor. Putting the jar into the plugins dir didn't help, too.
Also, I encountered some strange issues with the ~/.xxe dir, which I had to nuke between 2.1->2.2 for having my custom configs to work. If the syntax of the config files in ~/.xxe change, are they automatically migrated when upgrading versions?
