XMLmind XML Editor Standard Edition is a *product* which, unlike
Professional Edition, happens to be free.

"The Software is confidential and proprietary information of Licensor.
Licensee agrees to protect the Software from unauthorized use or
disclosure." implies that:

* XMLmind XML Editor Standard Edition belongs to Pixware (i.e. that this
software is not public domain, OpenSource, etc.)
* Your employees agree to use it in your company given all the
restrictions described in the XMLmind XML Editor Standard Edition
License.
* Your employees are not going to decompile XMLmind XML Editor Standard
Edition to see how we have implemented it.
* Your employees are not going to decompile XMLmind XML Editor Standard
Edition and distribute it Java sources on the Internet.

In practice, you can use XMLmind XML Editor Standard Edition freely in
your company but you cannot do things such as:
* Bundle it with one of your products.
* Extend it by writing macros, scripts or plug-ins to connect it to your
information system (For example, use XXE to load and store XML documents
from/to a database).
If you need to do that, you'll have to buy other types of licenses.

All this is detailed in XMLmind XML Editor Standard Edition License.
