Could you tell me if I missed something about XML Catalog ?
I've installed the last version of XXE (v.2.1). Before that,
I've supressed my XXE v.2.0p2. Now I've, again, to teach XXE
how to work with the last version of DocBook (v.4.2).
For that I made changes in the catalog.xml of XXE. I enter a
new line :
<public
publicId="-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.2//EN"
uri="file://{repository of docbook v.4.2}/docbookx.dtd"/>
It works quite good... but only when the {repository of
docbook v.4.2}
is on the XXE drive (C:\ for me).
To be more comprehensive, here lines of my catalog.xml (the
first work, the second not) :
<public
publicId="-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.2//EN"
uri="file://C:/Program
Files/XMLmind_XML_Editor/config/docbook/dtd42/
docbookx.dtd"/>
Note : XXE don't matter of the white space in "Program Files"
name
<public
publicId="-//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.2//EN"
uri="file://D:/Perso/Informatique/DocBook/docbook/xml/
docbookx.dtd"/>
The more incomprehensive to me is that the version 2.0p2 of
XXE work very well with the second line :-s
I work under Windows XP Home Edition.
Corrolary : when XXE will work natively with the last version
of DocBook ?
