It may be a bad idea in some cases, but it is VERY helpful and time-saving in many other cases. I know that in our group, the lack of this single feature is what is keeping using another XML editor instead of XXE. If there was some way to combine a plain edit field with a drop down list, that may be the best solution. Maybe something where you can input any text you want, but the drop down list provides a set of known ids that you can select from if you wish. -Allen
