Technically, we know how to implement this behavior (see Search Tool
tab/"Smart text boundaries" checkbox) but for reasons I don't remember
we have chosen not to implement it for the spell checker. May be we
should reconsider this decision?

For now, as a workaround, you can disable this type of checking using
Options dialog box/Spell tab/"Ignore duplicate words" checkbox.
