Hm, it is clean, I played with this possiblity, but I rejected it myself --
I thought the validity of parameters should be sequence-independent :-)

OK, I saw the METAINFO in other dars, but I did not play with it. And the
doc says (Dictionary builder user's guide) "..."Dictionary archive" (zip
files with .dar extension)..."

I know it -- our customers DO NOT read documentation :-), but the moment
they start, they start to find inconsitencies :-)
