You have probably installed a Java 1.4 runtime on your machine and our installer "ZeroG InstallAnywhere 4.5.1 Now!" does not seem to like it. This will be fixed this month in next release "XMLmind XML Editor M1.3p2". For now, here's what you can do: [1] Download http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_download/setup.exe This distribution includes a _private_ Java 1.3.1 runtime. [2] Execute setup.exe. The fact that you have already a Java 1.4 runtime should not be a problem. If this fails (it should not): [1] Uninstall your Java 1.4 runtime. [2] Run setup.exe again. PS: We have of course already tested the install of XXE on a (naked) Windows XP machine.
