The subject line is: "Only one month left to download free upgrades" The sender is: licenses at xmlmind.com >>> I was able to download the software anyway because I have a second >>> license key with a later expiry date, so it is not a practical problem >>> for me. My answer to your (a) question was plain wrong. In your specific case, you have the right to use XXE v4.2 with both the license purchased on 2008-01-02 and the license purchased on 2008-02-15. The reason for this is that XXE v4.2 has been released on 2008-12-08. You could have downloaded this version using any of the two licenses as a ``key'' opening our online store. Even if you missed the opportunity to download XXE v4.2 using the first license, by chance you had a second license allowing you to download XXE v4.2. Remarks: * The free upgrade period lasts 365 days from date of purchase and is not related to the product release dates. Therefore, a customer may miss the opportunity to download the latest version of the product. (We understand that you consider this limitation of our online store as being a bug.) * The following scenario is clearly not acceptable: - Customer C purchases license L10=10 user tokens and also license L1=1 user token. - Customer C never renews the purchase of L10. - Customer C always renews the purchase of L1 to be able to download latest release. - Customer C has more than 1 concurrent user of latest version. Sorry again for my incorrect answer to your questions.
