XMLmind XML Editor has two /addon/ folders:
* One in the application package.
* The other in ~/.xxe/addon (to be changed to 
~/Library/...SOMETHING.../addon/).

Note that you are not supposed to copy anything by hand to these folders.

If you always use "Options|Install Add-ons" and one day, you upgrade to 
the latest version of XMLmind XML Editor, the first time you'll start 
this new version, the application will suggest to automatically upgrade 
the add-ons for you.

This enhancement has been implemented in version 3.7.1. However it 
cannot work smoothly when you upgrade from v3.8.1 -- last v3 version -- 
to v4, because internally, some many things have changed.
