No, the reason for that is that conversion of DITA to other formats is
based on the DITA Open Toolkit and not on XMLmind's technology (process
commands, XSL-FO processor plug-ins, etc).

The DITA Open Toolkit supports a large number of formats, among them
RTF (but not WordprocessingML and Open XML, that is.docx). However we
found the output of the DITA Open Toolkit to be of very poor quality in
the case of RTF, that's why we didn't add a "Convert to RTF" item in the
DITA menu.

The end-user is likely to be disappointed by the new Convert menu: too
few menu items (e.g. where is Convert to HTMLHelp?), no easy way to
customize the HTML, PDF, etc, files that are generated its menu items.

In fact, by creating this Convert menu, our intent was mainly to show
integrators and consultants how XMLmind XML Editor integrates with DITA
Open Toolkit. Therefore, out of the box, this Convert menu should not be
considered as being ready for production use.

However, the situation will probably change in the next few months
because we have decided to invest a lot of efforts in the support of
DITA 1.1.
