[XXE] Can't Input Chinese/Japanese into XMLMind

Hi,

It seems that I can no longer input Chinese and
Japanese into the editor. Remember that I could do so
in version 3.51 under OS X 10.3.8.

E.g. Before, when typing "sakura", the Japanese
character would appear. Now, I can just see "sakura"
as it is.
