Local gurus customizing XXE on Macs will most probably regret the  
decision to omit this option, given the limitation to  
customized .xxe_gui on Macs.

Restarting XXE is significantly longer than closing the test files,  
reloading the configuration and reopening the test files.
Btw, it would be very nice, when using this option on any platform,  
to automatize this tedious sequence of operations.

Could this option be restored as a default in a further version if  
others are interested?
