No, we'll not do that. Rationale: XXE Pro has an "Options|Customize Configuration" menu. With menu item "Reload All Configurations" next to the above menu, the user will have the impression that after customizing a configuration, she/he has to manually reload all configurations, which is absolutely not true. Now, if you and others are interested, I can put online an alternate, more Unix-ish, distribution for the Mac. * This distribution is packaged as a ".zip" archive (as opposed to the ".dmg" of the normal distribution). * XXE is started using "XXE_install_dir/bin/xxe", the same shell script used on Linux. * "XXE_install_dir/bin/xxe" has of course no problems with environment variables such as: export XXE_GUI="xxe-gui:app/Developer.xxe_gui" * The XXE started this way is *as* *functional* *and* *as* *Mac-aware* as the XXE started by double-clicking on the XMLEdit.app application bundle (contained in the ".dmg" distribution). If you are interested, please inform me today because I'll be absent next week (vacations in London).
