Start XXE from an xterm by typing "xxe &" See also: http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/user_faq.html#xxe_on_debian, just in case! > Or what could be the reason? Using an invalid ".xxe_gui" file gives exactly the same result. I would suggest: * to delete the directory where you have installed XXE. * to delete the ``shortcuts'', script shells, whatever, used to start XXE. * to delete your ~/.xxe/ directory. * to resinstall everything you need from scratch.
