Thank you for this information. I'll add it to our FAQ today. Just one caveat: XXE hardly works with the combination Java 1.6+MToolkit: severe keyboard focus problems. However XXE+Java 1.5+MToolkit works really fine. That is, if you need to use MToolkit, please do not switch to Java 1.6. Please stay with Java 1.5, at least until Xgl.org or Sun has fixed the problem. --- PS: XXE+Java 1.6+XToolkit generally works fine. However, for time to time, it hangs for a couple of minutes waiting for the timeout of the X-selection (???). It happened to me once and I was not able to reproduce the problem. See http://www.xmlmind.com/pipermail/xmleditor-support/2006-August/004476.html Note that all these problems are specific to Linux/X-Window. Window and Mac users are fortunately not concerned.
