Hello,

Do you have any idea why sometimes people get an error starting from the
Java Web Start after I've done an update of the web start version? To
be specific, here's the scenario:

- Various people use a JWS of XXE pro 4.5.2 with several extensions
installed.
- I update an extension (via the GUI on the server-side installation),
build a new JWS version, and copy the new jars into the web server
directory.
- The next time some people start up XXE, they get an error like the
following:

cannot load configuration file
"jar:http://example.com/xxe/xxe_addon.jar!/addon/0-dtbook-iss/0-dtbook-iss.xxe":

JAR entry addon/0-dtbook-iss/0-dtbook-iss.xxe not found in C:\Documents
and Settings\User Name\Application
Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\26\41ad11da-11b4fdde

- Clearing the java cache on the client computer and restarting XXE
fixes this.

This has happened on more than one computer, but it doesn't seem to be
everyone. Am I doing something wrong in the update that is causing
these problems?

Boris
