Thanks. I think we figured it out that we were trying to copy an element (section) from an article to a chapter and in the Mac it won't work, but the older Windows version allowed it. We have got past that and they are determining how many copies to buy and where to slide it into the budget.
Again, thanks! See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/doc/help/clipboardTool.html --> In general when the Paste does not work, it's because the user didn't select the right Paste target. Example 1: select a section from a DocBook 4 document and attempt to paste it after a section contained in a DocBook 5 document. (DocBook 4 and DocBook 5 are different document types.) Example 2: select a section in a DocBook 5 document and attempt to paste it between two paragraphs contained in another DocBook 5 document. (The DocBook 5 Schema does not allow to do this.) Example 3: you are using Paste (which means: "Paste Into" at caret position) instead of using "Paste After". See tutorial: http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_tutorial/copy_paste/index.html --> It's very unlikely that you have found a bug related to Copy/Paste.
