There is not much specific to DITA in our product. Please follow at least the first few lessons of this tutorial: http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/tutorial.html and you'll quickly learn how use our product (or at least after watching a screencast or two, you'll quickly see that our product is not adapted to your needs). Note that this tutorial begins with: --- We'll almost exclusively use DocBook 5 examples in these lessons. This does not mean that this tutorial is about DocBook support in XMLmind XML Editor. Everything you'll learn in this tutorial applies to all document types: DITA, XHTML, etc. We have chosen DocBook mainly because this document type uses self-descriptive names for its elements: para for a paragraph, itemizedlist of an itemized list, etc. Prior knowledge of DocBook is not required in order to follow this tutorial. --- > > For example: > > *DITA* (is there a reason why these are not in alphabetical order?) > Map > BookMap > Concept > Task (Strict) > Task (General) > Reference > Glossary Entry > Glossary Group > Topic > Multiple Topics > DITAVAL Yes of course there is a reason. Document templates are grouped by function. For example, Map and Bookmap are both maps; Concept and Task are both topics. > > Please provide the Process information from beginning to end. You'll find these files in XXE_install_dir/demo/dita-sample.ditamap, a map which points to DITA topics found in XXE_install_dir/demo/dita-sample/ > > This information should be added to your documentation!
