Still, open source projects and such will not even consider XXE this
way. There you don't even consider non-free stuff (regardless that
older free XXE-s will be available for ever... from somewhere, because
I don't see it on your site), because contributors come and go, and so
you just won't fiddle with licences. Not to mention that even if you
willing to, XXE is quite an expensive software for non-profit work. I
don't know how many organizations and open source projects use XXE's
free edition, but I'm certain that the user-base from those fields
will start to shrink now, as only old users remain, and no new ones
will come.
