I can confirm, as a now Mac user myself, XXE 5.4.1 does work OK on my Mac
(OS X Lion, but soon, hopefully, OS X Mountain Lion), both in standalone
mode, and (sorry Hussein for not having written you about this before,
always wanted to, but could not) as a Java applet too.

Even if currently my Java install seems to be a bit broken (have Java6 and
Java7 and some apps are using one, other apps are using the other), XXE
deployed as an applet (only tested the full 'xxe' editor applet) works OK
on the Mac (tested mostly with Firefox). There is no more the need to use
the workaround described on the website, I can see and use the applet
without problems.

Hope you can test more thoroughly and then add the required information on
the applet section of your website.
