Dear Hussein, when migrating our production environment from Windows XP to Windows 7, we get problems with the single instance mode. Though I activated the corresponding option in the general options screen, I am not able to open an xml file by double-clicking in the same instance of XXE. This means a second instance is started and a popup window indicates something like "Cannot start XXE in single instance mode: Address already in use: JVM_Bind. Deactivating single instance mode. Possibly Port 49987 is in use by another server).
