Hi Stefan, Aleksey, i could now find, where this problem comes from. It only appears, if you give ./configure the --libdir argument. If done so, it happens on my 32bit Suse 9.3 too. I compiled xmlsec before without giving this switch, cause it worked fine without. For 64-bit this is not the case, as xmlsec wants to put the libraries in /usr/lib/ but they belong to /usr/lib64/ This is only a a problem, if building a package, where a different build root is given (in this case xmlsec is built below /var/tmp/xmlsec1-1.2.8-root/ Aleksey, any idea how to fix this?
