Well, yes. I wasn't asking for so much. It seemed to me as large amount
of work.
That implies a reference list, that the user-defined list does not have
unknown modules that
are missing in the reference list, that the modules aren't configured
with options
like --enable-this, and there are other possibilities.

I would defer that as icing on the cake.
