I sort of doubt that the author specifically placed this under the GPL. I worked with him a little for Gentoo/MIPS, but he seems to have moved on to other stuff. I have a Yeeloong, so when I get it set up, I'll rewrite the patch to address any licensing concerns and address Alan's concerns (if it's even needed at all, see Mark's reply). Thanks for sending this upstream. The loongson/lemote guys seem to be terrible about just hacking something so that it works for them, and then that's the end of it.
