Sounds fine. Of course, I suspect you'd like a finer scissor than we
currently provide; give that we almost always compute that to deal with
damage, I wonder how we could restructure the code so that you'd get
some kind of tighter scissor, without having to recompute a bounding
rectangle for every operation. Future work.
