Ugh. I've applied your pageflip patch, lfrb's two-patch atomic fix series and my fix-old-clients series, which for me fixes KDE running with both old and new Mesa. That's just running a Plasma 5 desktop with 'startkde', either single or dual head. Do things work for you if you have all those applied?
