Neither of these has any influence on when the module is loaded. Adding radeon to /etc/modules may help, otherwise for testing you could boot to single user mode first, modprobe radeon manually and then switch to runlevel 2. > P.S.: > You can answer to the list, I read it ;-) It's customary on X lists to follow up to individuals directly as well as to the list.
