Hello guys. I have a problem with setting gamma in X 1.4.2 in Debian. Xgamma doesn't report any problem, but it also doesn't apply gamma settings. XF86VidModeSetGamma() function also returns "False". I use self-compiled via driver on that system (for cx700 video chip from VIA). On my own system with the same Debian, X version and nVidia card gamma works fine.
