Hi, So I'm dedicated to trying to understand the xournal++ source code. I've realized the only way to do that it seems is to rewrite it. I am not suggesting that I am forking xournal at all, but I started in XournalMain trying to refactor the run method and I am focusing heavily on dealing understanding the overall structure, so i've found myself removing heap variables, and changing method signatures so that it makes more sense to me.
If someone reminds me how to get the original source-code cairo dependencies resolved I will get my version working and publish it to a git repo on git.ryanlewis.net (pulls currently not available from here, since I don't know how to configure it properly). I'm working off the latest from the svn.
