Hi Andreas, I tried this -- but now I get a different error: make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/xournal/xournal-svn/trunk/xournalpp/src' g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -DPACKAGE_DATA_DIR=\""/usr/local/pkgs/xournalpp/share"\" -DPACKAGE_LOCALE_DIR=\""/usr/local/pkgs/xournalpp/share/locale"\" -pthread -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/cairo -I/usr/include/gdk-pixbuf-2.0 -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/gio-unix-2.0/ -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/pixman-1 -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/libpng12 -I/usr/include/poppler/glib -I/usr/include/poppler -I/usr/include/libglade-2.0 -I/usr/include/libxml2 -I/usr/include/librsvg-2.0 -I/include/python -I../src/util -g -rdynamic -Wreturn-type -Wuninitialized -Wunused-value -Wunused-variable -g -O2 -MT xournalpp-PyDocument.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/xournalpp-PyDocument.Tpo -c -o xournalpp-PyDocument.o `test -f 'plugin/python/bindings/PyDocument.cpp' || echo './'`plugin/python/bindings/PyDocument.cpp In file included from plugin/python/bindings/PyDocument.cpp:1:0: plugin/python/bindings/PyDocument.h:16:20: fatal error: Python.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated. I'm not sure if it's relevant, but I have /usr/include/python2.6/Python.h on my system, but it is apparently not detected / relevant. >> I did as you asked. I have a tablet PC (HP 2710p). I should add -- In the screen shot, you see a dot next to line 1 and line 3. Another related thing might be that I have xinput --set-prop "PS/2 Generic Mouse" "Evdev Middle Button Emulation" 1 in ~/.xinitrc. Once I get Xournal++ to compile, I'll try it without this and see if it makes any difference. > I hope I can see the problem. > > Another question: did you rotate the screen after Xournal++ was > started? Which distribution / Version do you use? No rotation. I'm not sure what's up here. I'm attaching a list of all the packages on my system, and package versions. I use Debian/testing. Thanks for your help, GI -- 'Impatience' -- Waiting in a hurry.
