Hi Andreas,

please see my effort as making sure that xournal is useful until
xournal++ is ready to replace it. My current work has been
"scratching my own itch" trying to make sure it does the things that I
need in a day-to-day basis. I do not want to
interfere with your progress in any way. It will be great to have a
solid successor of xournal.
