Hi All, After Debian updated some library (poppler I presume) I couldn't use 0.4.5 anymore; so I had to rebase my old patches to 0.4.6.
Is there an effort to move to Git officially? It's pretty inconvenient to maintain individual patches through a tracker. Regardless -- here's what I did: #1: Emergency save on crash. https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2902271&group_id=163434&atid=827735 On a server crash, this saves modified journals to a temporary file. (Works will even if multiple copies are running). Doesn't help for power failures or "pkill xournal". But works great for the "unknown device" bug I was plagued with for a while. #2: Custom ruling parameters, invert colors, and emergency save https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2906524&group_id=163434&atid=827735 This is 3 features, but without an SCM I didn't have the time to produce individual patches. I use these 3 every day, so can't live without them. It has the emergency save (above), allows custom margins / ruling parameters, and an option to invert your journal. (I.e. if you like to write white strokes on a black journal and also want to print your notes, you can invert colors, export to PDF, and undo back). Hope you find it useful, GI -- 'Priest' -- Someone addressed by everyone as "Father" except his children who call him "uncle". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
