Arian Sanusi twisted the bytes to say:
Arian> dmesg: Arian> [36032.805679] traps: xournal[9685] trap int3 ip:7f9acdba6e8d sp:7fff18cf51b0 error:0 Arian> xsession-errors: Arian> (xournal:9685): GLib-ERROR **: /tmp/buildd/glib2.0-2.36.4/./glib/gmem.c:165: failed to allocate 3667587280 bytes This is a very strange allocation: 3,667,587,280 (more than 3 Gigs). I suspect that is why the computer was trashing (not the other way around: that the trashing created the failure). Xournal should not try to allocate such massive amount of memory unless you tried to paste something this massive in. do you recall what you were doing right before the crash? were you annotating a PDF or just doing annotations on a non-pdf background xournal? thanks!
