Oh and honestly, lenovo are idiots for scrapping trackpoint buttons. With 
default settings, it's impossible to do trackpoint clicks without moving the 
pointer, because clicking is emulated by pressing certain area on the touchpad. 
I heard you can shrink the area the touchpad does pointer movement, but hey, 
why make things simple when you can make them complicated? Oh, and when you 
disable the touchpad, you end up with a trackpoint without buttons...

That obviously holds for all Thinkpads without trackpoint buttons. I heard 
drivers work around a bit better on windows.

Also if you became comfortable with the forward/back keys on previous thinkpad 
keyboards, back luck, the "improved" keyboard lacks them.
