I suggest not restricting that to images. I often find myself carefully drawing a few symbols (\sum and \int, say) and copying and pasting them around. That scales well only up to 1 symbol so far... Possible solutions: - extended clipboard for 10 or so different copies to select from for pasting - "library" as suggested above, but for selctions from a xournal file. This would include images, of course. I imagine that both would be useful - a limited set of clipboard slots, and an unlimited library on the file system to fill these slots from.
