Hi, I have two problems, and I just wondered if other people have them as well. I have a Voodoo3 3000 AGP and a Voodoo3 2000 PCI in my intel box, and I've been using DRI on both heads. With recent CVS from both xfree86.org and dri.sourceforge.net, dual-head DRI no longer seems to work. My XFree86.0.log makes it look like everything is working, but when I try to run anything that uses GL, it segfaults. For example: [bo@mahy bo]$ glxgears MMX cpu detected. Testing OS support for SSE... yes. Testing OS support for SSE unmasked exceptions... SIGFPE, yes. Tests of OS support for SSE passed. Katmai cpu detected. Segmentation fault (core dumped) This is with GLX_DEBUG=1 (doesn't do anything?) and MESA_DEBUG=1. I have not yet had time to pinpoint when dual-headed DRI broke, but I will try to look into it soon. And yes, I am using the drm modules from the CVS archive. Also, with two displays running (NOT Xinerama), xscreensaver hangs the X server. I have to kill -9 from a remote box: SIGTERM isn't sufficient. I do xscreensaver, then if I do xscreensaver-demo or xscreensaver-command -activate, I get a black screen with a mouse cursor that moves, but otherwise X is totally unresponsive, and has to be killed. Just wondered if anyone has any tips about either of these problems. :) -- William "Bo" Brinkman [EMAIL PROTECTED] Princeton Computer Science http://www.derandomized.org/ -- Bill Gates...is just a white persian cat and a monocle away from being the villain in a Bond flick. --Dennis Miller, "I Rant, Therefore I Am" _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
