i'm using a radeon / ve dvi-d connection to a sony
sdm-m81 dfp. i had to check out and compile the
head of the xfree86 tree, but it works great
(stock 4.1.0 just crashed my freebsd box with
the radeon/ve)
by the way, dvi-d is great for these flat panels,
eliminating the 'clock-phase' problem perfectly.
but of the 4 flat panels i've bought in my lifetime,
the samsung 770tft has the very best grey scale and
viewing angle (sadly, it is analog input only - maybe
theres a dvi-d version now...)
