In my Xfree86 3.3.6 tree, the Geode stuff was sliced in at xc/programs/XServer/hw/xfree86/vga256/drivers/nsc. I haven't looked where it resides in 4.0, but I suspect that you need that vga256 in there. Nsc has probably been renamed to Geode.

Subject: [Xpert]Geode GX1 support....
supposedly, there is a graphics device driver (xfree86 vers 4.0.1) for
National Semiconductor's Geode GX1 processor which supports pixel rotation.
A document that I have refers to the following directory which does not
exist: xc/programs/XServer/hw/xfree86/drivers/geode.
Does anyone have info on where this driver is located.
thankx
