Hello again - Thank you all for the help I received setting up my 3-screen 1600SW/i128 multi-head setup. I was getting strange behavior from the one card with the VGA BIOS enabled (i.e., the one on which Linux boots.) So I decided to disable all three VGA BIOSes and boot from a fourth, cheapo-VGA card so all i128's get initialized exactly the same way by the Xserver. This is working. The problem is, now I'd like to get rid of that extra graphics card and boot from a serial console, but xf86OpenConsole seems to *require* virtual terminals on Linux. Is there a dummy console driver in the Linux Kernel which would make XFree86 happy, or could we make an option to run without VTs, even on Linux? This would be very useful to me. Thanks, - Sidik _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
