I am looking for a window manager that is very multi-head functional
(not just aware). The reason: I have a three headed system. One ATI
Rage IIC and one Matrox G400 (two displays).

The ATI and first head on the G400 are hooked up to two monitors and
the 2nd head on the Matrox is hooked up to the TV. Because I want the
TV display to be used independently (I want to display full screen on
it) of the other two (desktop screens), Xinerama is not a workable
solution for me. I only wish I could bind two displays out of three
on an Xserver with Xinerama but alas, I cannot.

So, what I am looking for is a window manager that will at least allow
me to decide which screen to place a window on. When a new window
is "popped up" ready for placement, I would like a dialog (or some
other way) to tell the window manager which screen (:0.0, :0.1 or
:0.2) to place the window on.

Even nicer (but I suspect impossible) would be to be able to move a
window from one display to another. Not necessarily even dragging it
but just the ability to have is redisplayed on a different screen.

Does such a window manager exist? If no is that because it is
technically impossible to do what I am looking for?

Thanx,
b.
