Hi. I'm not sure where I to ask this question. It is an X11 programming
question. Please let me know if there is a better list.

In Win32 a program can install a system-wide hook to examine and modify
every input device event. This technique is used for hot-key programs, to
pump mouse-driven handwriting recognition into programs expecting text, or
to remotely control another GUI without its knowledge. What is the best
approach for programming system-wide hooked events in X? Is it hard? What X
calls are relevant to look at? What program code could I see for examples?

Thanks.

Robin
