Why should it? ;) I think DPMS was conceived for CRTs so I wouldn't
expect it to apply to flat panels naturally.

60 Hz both vertically and horizontally is obviously impossible so I
assume it's 63.36 kHz horizontally? That would be quite reasonable for
1024 lines at 60 Hz.
