ax is the command line utility that comes with accessx. I think you already said you 
have accessx so you should have ax also ... ???

Try downloading the source code again ( http://www.rehab.uiuc.edu/accessx ) and 
recompiling it. ax should be part of the build. I have version 0.950.

NB. From my reading it seems like 4.0.3 ff of XFree should include a client to change 
these options however I have not been able to find anything in the standard XFree 
distribution which is why I downloaded accessx.
