I'm having a problem with Xv on 4.2.0 that was not showing up on 4.1.0 - if I try to use Xv with the resolution set to 640x480 the display is incorrect (for example the output is compressed up to the top half of the window and the bottom half is solid blue). At 800x600 or higher resolutions the display looks fine. Unfortunately most video apps switch to 640x480 for their "fullscreen" display modes.
This is with XFree86 built with the default configuration except for "#define HasGlide3 YES" in host.def. OS is Red Hat 7.2 on an AMD Athlon XP 1700+. Video card is a Voodoo 5 5500. -- Manuel A.
