I added a modeline for 640x480x75Hz (because the default 85Hz mode in XF402 was causing my monitor to shimmy) and this seemed to fix this issue. Which leaves one issue I've seen since late pre-4.1 - sometimes when changing resolution (either with Ctrl+Alt++/- or through DGA) the X server dies. No messages in /var/log/XFree86.0.log, no core dump (that I can find), no nothing. Whenever I want to try to reproduce this, I can't - it always waits until I try to watch a video in fullscreen before going kaput. It's driving me mad. Anyone have any ideas? Please?
