Hi,
I have an IBM ThinkPad iSeries 1300 1171-NM1 with a Trident BladeEdge
video card. I am using XFree86 4.1.0 from Red Hat 7.2.
Ever since installing Linux on this computer, I have had issues with
the mouse cursor. What happens is that the system pointer (what does
the clicking) and the visual pointer (what we see) go out of sync. The
visual pointer goes 20 or 30 pixels to the right of the system pointer.
In order to click on anything properly, I have to compensate for this
difference. I am very unsure of how to fix this. If anyone can help
me, I'd appreciate it.
The only way to fix this is to reboot. It happens again even after.
However, restarting X _does not_ temporarily fix this problem.

Thank you

Kevin Breit
