I cannot figure out how to make dga work on my matrox card: Here an extract from Xfree log: XFree86 Version 4.1.0.1 / X Window System (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6510) Release Date: 21 December 2001 [...] (II) Loading extension XFree86-DGA [...] (--) Chipset mgag400 found xdpyinfo reports: XFree86-DGA version 2.0 opcode: 136, base event: 68, base error: 144 Base address = 0xF6000000, Width = 1600, Bank size = 16777216, RAM size = 16384k When I use dga, the screen switches to a black screen until I hit 'q'. dga reports: 1 addr:0x4022d000, width 1600, bank size 16777216, depth 24 planes KeyRelease[36]: [..] KeyRelease[42]: g KeyPress [24]: q EXITTING back now in X Thats all folks So what's going on ? Why are the addresses reported by dga and xdpyinfo different ?
