Hi all. There seems to be a problem with the XFree-4 (at least 4.1.0 and 4.2.0) when the Matrox framebuffer is used for the vt. The hardware mousecursor is blinking in the inversed color. Affected are at least the G200 and G400. Strange enough my G450 works in this combination.
With the 4.1.0 release the Option "HwCursor" "false" helped. But with 4.2.0 the G400 produces a very large blinking square of "random" pixel garbage in the top, levt corner and with the G200 a normal text-cursor is blinking in the top, left corner. The hardware cursor seems to be incorrectly initialized. We use selfcompiled vanilla sources of the releases compilied by gcc-2.95.3. All the rest works as usually very good! ;-) Thanks.
