Huh? The V4L module is nice, yes. But this way we are not able to use
the card for capture the video!

Since it seems that the v4l module does "overlay" from the tv-card
into normal ram, and then uses the video-cards XV to overlay in on the
screen, this should be also possible in a normal user-application. And
leaves the tv-card useable for video-capturing.
